As we strive to live a Cross centered life and bring glory to God in all we think
do and say - let us always pray for God to lead our ever step. We should pray to God without ceasing as He wants a relationship with each of us, every day - all day long.

Genesis to Revelation the Bible is God's living Word and is worthy of our prayerful study and meditation.
We are blessed to be members of The First Baptist Church in Nocona, TX. Dave Woodbury is our Pastor and leads us through God's Word on Sunday mornings as well as evening services on Sundays and Wednesdays. Dave has taught a series of sermons from Genesis through Malachi and is currently teaching "The Principles of Spiritual Growth" and "What are some distinctive qualities of a Baptist". We are also members of The Bible Class where Steve Williams, our Bible teacher, studies God's Word and researches ancient history to teach us. We are currently studying the book of Revelation verse by verse. Steve includes interesting and relevent information about the history during the time of God's Revelation to John. We are blessed to have a wonderful friend and Brother in Christ, Rob Avara who gave his life to the Lord on November 17, 1999. After a twenty-one year career in the US Marine Corps, he made some wrong choices in his life that led to his being incarcerated in prison for eight years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice system. God directed Rob to start "Faith from Within Prison Ministry," a ministry of preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ inside prisons throughout the state. This ministry continues today in 42 prisons throughout the US. Rob’s single most important goal is ensuring that all prisoners hear about and have the chance to make a decision to follow Jesus Christ accepting Him as their personal savior.
In addition to "Faith from Within Prison Ministry" Brother Rob currently teaches and preaches the Gospel and hosts a Christian radio program on KNTX 1410 AM in Bowie, TX each Sunday morning at 10:05 am called "Doing Time with Brother Rob". He is also sharing the Gospel over the airwaves on Sunday mornings from 7:00-8:00 am on KJKB "The Boss" 95.5 FM in Jacksboro, TX and holding a Bible Study for prisoners in this area.
